Four questions, answered honestly.

We assume you have written a for-loop and seen a Python notebook. We assume you have not designed silicon.

A computing model that pairs a general-purpose CPU with one or more domain-specific processors. The CPU runs the operating system, branches, and serial logic. The accelerator absorbs the parallel-friendly workloads the CPU is bad at: dense linear algebra, ray traversal, FFTs, neural network forward and backward passes. The pair acts as a single machine.
